Don Busby has extensive experience with businesses as an adviser in his capacity as an attorney and later in his capacity as a business broker for business owners and potential business owners.

Don is an accomplished negotiator, but his overall policy is to fashion a transaction that makes sense for both the buyer and seller with the overall intent of providing the best value for the business.
In addition to a BBA from The University of North Texas and a doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas at Austin, he has over 150 classroom hours of coursework in business transactions, evaluations, negotiations, financial statements and recasting along with other related topics through the International Business Brokers Association.
Don Busby is an active member of the Austin community – he works with The Neighborhood Austin to assist poor individuals, families, group and those in need who are struggling and have fallen through the cracks, and The Busby Foundation to bring people and resources together to help families face ALS with dignity and strength. Don is also an active member of the Austin Chamber of Commerce, International Business Brokers Association and Texas Association of Business Brokers.
Carl brings over 30 years of success and achievement in leading start-ups and diverse businesses in generating over $300 million to Commerce Business Advisors, as a Senior Advisor and Broker on all buying, selling and advisory transactions.
In addition to his role at Commerce Business Advisors, Carl is an Ambassador & Partner with 7 Mindsets, an educational and personal development company, focused on empowering individuals with the tools to lead happier, more successful and fulfilling lives.
Born in New York and having served many years in California as a business executive, Carl now resides in Southwest Austin. Carl’s second career centers on providing service to others and positively impacting lives. Carl is involved in numerous community and civic projects developed to assist individuals through such programs as C.E.O., Community Employment Outreach, in partnership with Travis County Health & Human Services and Veterans Services, as well as a LEO Club Advisor at The Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
